The 2014 Fire Season is no different. We are already witnessing a myriad of fire sweep across the Nation in both a metaphorical and literal "opening act." Fire season is upon us, and it is up to the men and women whom dedicate themselves to fire suppression and prevention to adjust to, and overcome, the challenges associated with the ever changing role of fire on the landscape.

I should get some sick pictures up during this fire season, but I would also enjoy any lookout pictures from you! Send them to Hotshot@wildfirelookouts.com

<![CDATA[It's ripping in '13. ]]>Thu, 05 Sep 2013 16:35:12 GMThttp://wildfirelookouts.com/blog/its-ripping-in-13Though some fire lookouts are seasonally staffed throughout the country, many lookouts have been staffed in emergency capacity during the 2013 Fire Season. It has been a long and tragic fire season. Stay safe, and work hard!
